GC Kids Jr. was designed with your child in mind. It is a fun, safe environment where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers can learn all about Jesus! GC Kids Jr. meets Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. GC Kids Jr. Small Groups meet Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM.
A new addition for our GC Kids nursery ministry is our "Mommy and Me" room. The Mommy and Me Room is designated for moms and children ages 2 and under only. The room is equipped with the livestream of our service as well as a changing table, rocking chair, toys, a bouncer, and other supplies you may need. Who attends GC Kids Jr.?
All children from babies to preschoolers attend GC Kids Jr.
Where is GC Kids Jr. located?
The nursery and toddler rooms are located in the foyer of the main sanctuary. The preschool class is located on the second floor of the two story educational building.
First time at GC Kids Jr.?
All of our first time guest are asked to register so we can get your child in our database system.
We ask that you please provide us with your cell phone number and the name of your cell phone provider. If your child needs you during one of our services, we will message you via text message. We ask that you please put your phone on vibrate so we can contact you if needed.
At check-in, you and your child will be given matching identification tags. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification tags which bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service. During checkout, you will return to your child's room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
On your way home, be sure to ask your child: "Did you have fun?" and "What did you learn today?"
What is the check-in/check-out process?
As you enter GC Kids Jr., your first stop will be at one of our check-in stations where a friendly volunteer will check your child in for the service you are attending. Our check-in stations open 30 minutes prior to the start of each service. Check-in station volunteers will need your child's full name in order for us to locate your child in our database system.
You will receive a set of name tags with a family identification number for you and for your child. Your child will wear the name tag with his or her name. Please hold on to your portion of the name tag until checkout at the end of the service. You will need it to check your child out of GC Kids. No child is released unless the matching identification name tag is presented.
If for some reason you were to lose your identification name tag, please go directly to our GC Kids Jr. Check-in where one of our volunteers will walk you through the proper procedures. The safety and security of children in GC Kids Jr. is of the utmost importance to us. To this effect, each GC Kids Jr. team member must submit a comprehensive leader application and undergo a nationwide level criminal and sexual predator background check.
